About

Edwin Wang is a freshman majoring in Tech Entrepreneurship at Babson College. He is also a recipient of the Arthur Blank Entrepreneurial Leadership Scholarship (a four-year full merit scholarship, and he is one of the first two Asian male recipients). Edwin's goal is to ensure that artificial intelligence can benefit society. Edwin Wang's interests are at the core of technology and entrepreneurship. It was those passions that led him to co-found two companies in high school (University of Toronto Schools).

  • One company focuses on helping visually impaired people develop independence by helping them navigate and find objects through the iPhone,” (interviewed by Canada's CBC).

  • The other company (https://mybite.app) focuses on helping restaurants raise their bottom line and increasing transparency in the food-delivery industry. The app provides price transparency for customers and eliminates commission fees for the restaurant and drivers.

His entrepreneurial experience made him think about the issue that many people are most concerned about at the moment: the ethical use of artificial intelligence and technologies. After mybite received early investment, the two other companies he co-founded in college both received investment (one of which was an AI  Agent that received a seven-figure investment).
